Welcome news again from the Al-Amin senior high in Mojokerto. Two students have been chosen for the district Paskibraka flag-raising corps after coming through a demanding round of selection.
Selection covered a medical check, physical fitness, marching drill, civic knowledge, and an interview. The two then joined a training camp alongside those chosen from other schools across the district.
The school leadership expressed its appreciation. In their view, students taking part in Paskibraka shows that a boarding-school education can raise a generation that is devout and, at the same time, attached to its country.
The two urged their fellow students not to hesitate when an opportunity appears. The discipline built up in the dormitory, they said, helped a great deal through the intense training.
