Achievement at the Al-Amin senior high is not the students’ alone. A number of teachers have earned recognition through competitions and teacher-development programmes at district and provincial level.
These results are part of the school’s commitment to keep raising the quality of its teaching. Teachers are encouraged to attend training, to write and publish, and to develop classroom practice that answers what their students actually need.
The principal noted that a teacher who keeps learning is the plainest example a student will find, in the classroom and in the dormitory alike.
