Students, alumni, teachers, staff, and the wider family of Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School, Mojokerto, gathered for the haul of the masyayikh together with the school’s 26th anniversary. The programme opened with a completion of the Qur’an, tahlil, and a communal istighotsah.
In his address, the speaker stressed that good manners are the foundation of seeking knowledge. Knowledge that benefits, he said, comes from a heart that honours its teacher and keeps to good character in daily life.
The anniversary was also a moment to remember the founders and the masyayikh who began the school back in 2000. The programme closed with a communal prayer and a gathering of the Al-Amin family.
